With this project the designer wanted a moulding installed that would house a light trough. The soffit was an asymmetric curved surface which created a challenge to run in place. We designed the moulding profile and did all preparatory carpentry necessary to install the moulding. In the first photo you can see the knife and the first few coats of base coat. The second photo shows the moulding in its near finished stages. The final photo shows the soffit curves. If you are wondering about the black piping under and over the moulding that is what we use as a running rail, and is removed when finished.
