This exterior sand and cement moulding was run on a shell shaped wall that was to be used as a fountain. We had to do this project in the winter, so we created a tent over the wall and heated the area. We then added accelerators to the plaster so that the plaster would go through the hardening process before the evening freezing temperatures. The first photo shows the moulding being run. The second shows the corners being formed with a tool called a miter rod. The last photo is the finished product.
